Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is led by our Pastor Rev. Johnson Lê. Other ex-officio members include Melissa Marmolejo, Deaon Paul Cardenas, and Deacon Allan Shultz.
There are nine parishioners on the council. Four members are appointed by Fr. Johnson; these are Mark Fresquez, Richard Gonzalez, Araceli Rios and Stephanie Sahin. Three members are voted on in Parish election, these are Jesse Balleze, Nan Kirkpatrick and Danny Petri. Together, these seven members voted on the final two members; Erma Garcia and Charles Robles. The council elected as their president, Araceli Rios and as vice-president, Mark Fresquez. The members will serve for 3-year terms. The parish will elect new members to replace out-going members as needed.
Father described the council as the “eyes and ears” of the parish to advise him on matters pertaining to the parish, and a liaison to the parish ministries. They serve our church and overall community with priority on our church parishioners.
As parishioners, you can provide ideas or concerns to any Council member or through their email address. President Araceli will vet items and take to Fr. Johnson, who will decide on the need and urgency for discussion. If needed, a parishioner may make a short presentation at a council meeting.
The members thank you for the honor of serving our Blessed Sacrament community.
